Episode 8

As fate would have it we are exploring the absolutely amazing Uluru & Kata Tjuta National Park and have to suffer through the not so amazing Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort). We catch both sunset and sunrise over Uluru as well as a rainy day in the desert.

After satisfying our rock-desires we are happily leaving Yulara for Kings Canyon (for the 2nd time) when the unexpected happens yet again: Doris isn’t feeling too well. 200 km outside Yulara we are forced to get towed back into “town” again for another repair.

A rainy walk through the Valley of the winds in Kata Tjuta. Absolutely one of this trips highlights.

Doris is sick for the 3rd time and get towed for the 2nd time. Turning into a bit of a rutine this one…

Episode 7

In this episode P & A have a full blown first experience with The Red Center: Bush hippies. Life is on the upside all through the West MacDonnell Ranges until, unexpectedly, Doris gets sick… The itinerary are thrown out the window as destiny takes us a bit too early to Yulara and Uluru/Kata Tjuta.

The view is not too shabby on top of Mount Sonder in the West MacDonnell Ranges.

Episode 5

Listen to part 2 of our trip to the amazing Kakadu National Park. A ‘lovely’ American family interfere with the serenity and Patsy and Starlex drives through crocodile infested waters with the windows pulled down. Among other things.

In this episode we (Alex) need to apologies for the lack of motivation while recording. It was all due to Alex being grumpy grandpa as a result from nicotine withdrawals. He can now see the end of the tunnel and the sun is shining on the horizon. So on and so forth…

Taking a dip at the crocodile free plunge pool at Jim Jim Falls. Can you spot Starlex?

Hold on to something, here comes a river crossing!
